This was the motor as it was pulled from the old '79 CJ-5. |
| The first think I did was stip it of it parts, clean the snot out of it, and spay several coats of red engine enamel. |

The highly recommended 1 piece oil pan seal - much easier than the multi-part one you most ofter find, and worth the extra money. |
| Exterior parts were wire bushed down to the bare metal, primed, painted, and re-installed. The head is topped off with a Clifford aluminum valve cover. |

| At this stage the motor was installed into the frame (mostly to make space in the garage). Red polyurethane motor mounts are used. |
